My career began in banking with TSB, which gave me a rigorous grounding in financial products, customer relationships, and the realities of how money moves through families and institutions. I went on to work as a Contracts Manager in the North Sea Oil Industry, and then as Finance Director for a Steel Fabrication company – experiences that gave me a deep and practical understanding of business structures, risk management, and commercial decision-making.

I have since spent many years as a specialist financial planning consultant – working in personal holistic financial planning and the corporate environment – with a specialist focus on estate planning, will writing, trust design, inheritance tax mitigation, and business exit strategies.

Since founding The Inheritance Guru, I have helped thousands of families across the UK and internationally to protect their wealth, structure their estates tax-efficiently, safeguard their businesses, and navigate the probate process with confidence.

The Inheritance Guru is more than just me. I work alongside a powerful team of STEP-qualified solicitors and legal specialists – giving every client access to rigorous, technically excellent legal support.
